1. Prospect Activity in ampEducator

ampEducator has a suggested Prospect Activity workflow that you can follow based on activities that institutions commonly engage in. If you don't use a particular Status you can just ignore it or skip over it for the Prospect. The Status suggestions are fixed, but will be customizable in an upcoming release. (Note: you can customize the Student Status once they are Enrolled). If you would like to add custom Status Tags you can do this in #3 Using Tags to customize Status. 

2. Convert Prospect to Student using Enroll Stage.

There are 3 ways to Enroll Prospects as Students. This changes the Prospect from Lead Stage to Enrolled Stage and the will appear under the Students section.

a. Under Prospect Profile > Activity > More Actions > Enroll:

b. Using the Shortcut Enroll Button when you expand the Prospect in the List:

c. Select multiple Prospects at the same time from the Student List using the Prospects > More Actions > Enroll Selected option as well:

When you click Enroll you are presented with the option to enter a StudentID or click the Magic Wand and ampEducator will auto-assign an ID based on your Institution Config > Students > ID settings. If you would like your ID to start at a specific number contact support@ampeducator.com to set this for you:

Tip: When you convert Prospects to Students you can assign custom Student Status. You can customize this list under Institution Config > Students > Status. If you assign a Status of "Pending" for example, you can then filter on this Status and Enroll multiple Students to a Program or Course at the same time.
