1.5.2 Student More Actions Getting Started Checklist:

Additional Actions that can be performed in the Student section. To select Students use the checkbox to the left or the master checkbox at the top to select All, Visible or None to clear your selection.



2. What happens with Merge Selected?


You will be prompted to select a Primary Student Record:


a. All fields from merge student will be copied to primary student except in cases where the data already exists in primary student


-address must be completely empty to be considered empty before copying over from merged (this is so you don't end up with 2 different addresses merged)

-permanent address must be completely empty to be considered empty before copying over from merged (this is so you don't end up with 2 different addresses merged)

-emergency contact must be empty for data from merge student to be copied

-employer must be empty for data from merge student to be copied


b. All programs from merge student will be assigned to primary student unless they are already in the program


c. All courses from merge student will be assigned to primary student unless that are already in the course


d. Events, Email, Groups, SMS, Letters, Documents, Transactions, Hours, Notes are all assigned from secondary to primary student


e. Merge Students are flagged deleted.

1.14Students More ActionsIn the Student Menu you will see More Actions. Here you can select multiple students and apply actions.
1.14.1Add SessionAdd Multiple Students selected to a Session (Academic Session).
1.14.2Add to GroupAdd Multiple Students to an existing Group or select New Group.
1.14.3Enroll in CoursesEnroll Multiple Students to Courses.
1.14.4Enroll in ProgramEnroll Multiple Students to Program.
1.14.5Generate ReportsIf you have added any Custom Reports, you can select Students and Generate Report for all with options.
1.14.6Generate IDs for PrintingGenerate ID card for selected Students. Once generated you can then return to More Actions and Print IDs. See below (1.14.11 Print / Email Generated ID Cards).
1.14.7Generate TranscriptsGenerate Transcripts (from Transcript Templates) for selected Students with options to save and Single ZIP file, Output to PDF or Save to Students Documents (allows Students to view and download Transcripts).

Generate Tuition Statements
1.14.9Merge SelectedMerges selected duplicate Student records into one record that you indicate as the Primary.
1.14.10Opt In / Out MailingProvides option to Opt In / Out selected Students to Emailing List.
1.14.11Print / Email Generated ID CardsClick to go to Print Queue for Student IDs. Select the Students that you Generated IDs for from (2.4.6) and Click Print IDs to download as PDF file and print. Click More Actions > Email Selected (to Email digital ID to Students), More Actions > Delete Selected (to remove from the Print Queue).
1.14.12Recalculate TotalsIn some cases you may need to force ampEducator to update the Student totals such as Grades or Attendance Totals. Click this option to manually Recalculate Student.
1.14.13Send / Reset Account DetailsStarts a new Job to send / reset account details for the selected students. You can view the progress of the job under Home > User Jobs.
