This build implements Webhooks to ampEducator. Webhooks post data when certain events happen. They are similar to Triggers but easier to setup and have only one action rather than multiple actions.
1. Webhook Configuration
In order to use Webhooks you must first enable Webhooks in Institution Config / General / Webhooks section:
2. Setup Webhook
Once enabled you need to setup individual Webhooks for different event types. There are several types, but if you require one that is not available please contact support@ampeducator.com to let us know and we can add it for you.
3. Posting & Notification Logs
The URL needs to be verified, but once verified ampEducator will start posting to the URL whenever the event happens. Below we see a sample post for student details update:
4. Signature
ampEducator will sign the data with the secret which the user can use to verify the contents.
